There are a range of items that you CANNOT put into a skip bin, these items include: asbestos, car tyres, mattresses, wet cement or concrete, any type of hazardous waste, such as chemicals, petrol, oil, paint (empty paint tins with lids on are acceptable), car batteries are to be placed inside the bin, however we will take them away for you if they are placed next to the bin and you can only put food waste in the bin if it is double bagged.

We normally rent our bins for 5 to 7 days, but since we have a flexible period, you can contact us if you need the bins for a longer time and we will not charge you for it. Some companies would keep charging extra but you will never experience this problem with Backyard Bins.

Yes, most of our skip bins do have a drop down ramps at the back of the bin for wheelbarrow or walk in access, making rubbish removal easy. The only exceptions are the 10m³ bins, which have a low back end. However, this still allows for easy access.

No, our bins are strategically placed by our professional team to ensure that you can efficiently fill up the bin whilst making sure we have access to safely remove the bin upon pick up. Attempting to move the bin with other vehicles such as bobcats or forklifts may damage the bins and can lead to the bin collapsing on pick up.

With our wide-ranging experience, we have managed many tight gaps around Perth’s housing areas. We ain to have as few delays as possible, a seamless process in getting all of your waste can be accessed and processed. We do require a driveway around 3m wide to accommodate the truck for them to back straight down the place your bin.
