A Soil Only skip bin is for clean soil or sand with no other waste mixed through the load. Backyard Bins offers 2m³ to 5m³ soil bins across our Perth service area, with prices starting from $320.
Soil Only bins must contain clean soil or sand and nothing else. Do not add bricks, concrete, tiles, rubble, turf, roots, green waste, timber, plastic or household rubbish.
Choose this category when the complete load consists of clean soil or sand. If other renovation, landscaping or general materials are present, choose a different waste category.
Remove clean soil produced during a small excavation or property improvement.
Suitable for clean garden soil after plants, roots, turf and other organic material have been removed.
For a load containing clean sand with no rubble, vegetation or other waste.
Remove clean soil or sand produced while preparing a small site or outdoor area.
For clean soil removed before approved landscaping work, once turf, roots and green waste are separated.
Soil Only Waste means a load made up entirely of clean soil or sand. Keeping the load free from other materials allows it to remain within the correct waste category.
If the soil is mixed with bricks, concrete, tiles, timber, metal, gyprock or other approved building materials, compare our Mixed Renovation/Construction Waste bins. For clean concrete, bricks and tiles without general or mixed waste, see Clean Heavy Waste.
Roots, turf, branches and garden cuttings are not Soil Only Waste. Check the Green Waste category for accepted garden materials.

A Soil Only bin has a strict clean-load rule. The entire load must consist of clean soil or sand with no other material mixed through it.
Do not mix any other material through a Soil Only load. A small amount of brick, concrete, rubble, turf, roots or general rubbish changes the waste category.
Check the soil as you excavate and separate other materials before loading the bin.
If clean soil or sand will be mixed with approved building materials, use a Mixed Renovation/Construction Waste bin. For clean bricks, concrete and tiles without general waste, compare Clean Heavy Waste bins.
Use a Green Waste bin for accepted garden materials or compare all waste types before booking.
