A Mixed Renovation/Construction Waste skip bin is suitable when an approved mix of building and renovation materials needs to be removed together. Backyard Bins offers 2m³ to 9m³ mixed waste bins across our Perth service area, with prices starting from $320.
For 7m³, 8m³ and 9m³ Mixed Renovation/Construction Waste bins, no more than half the bin may contain soil, bricks, concrete or tiles. Materials must remain at or below the top rim. Call us before booking if you expect a particularly heavy load.
Choose this category when approved renovation and building materials will be mixed in the same bin. If the load contains only soil or sand, or only clean concrete, bricks, tiles and rubble, another waste category may offer a better fit.

Mixed Renovation/Construction Waste is an approved mixture of materials produced during renovation, building, fit-out and strip-out work. It can include soil, bricks, concrete, tiles, rubble, timber, cabinetry, plumbing equipment, metal and gyprock.
This category is intended for loads where several approved building materials need to be removed together. If your load consists only of soil or sand, choose a Soil Only bin. If it contains only clean concrete, bricks, tiles and similar heavy materials, see our Clean Heavy Waste skip bins.
Mixed building waste must be kept separate from household junk, garden organics and prohibited materials. For lighter household items, compare our General Light Waste bins.

This category accepts an approved mixture of common renovation and building materials. Check both lists before booking because some heavy, hazardous and unrelated waste must be kept out.
Do not place asbestos, liquids, chemicals, batteries, wet concrete, gas bottles or other prohibited materials in the bin. Loads containing incorrect materials may be refused or incur additional charges.
The correct waste category depends on what will make up the load, not simply the type of project.
If the bin will contain only clean soil or sand, book the Soil Only category. If the load contains only approved concrete, bricks, tiles and clean rubble, compare our Clean Heavy Waste bins.
Garden cuttings and branches belong in a Green Waste bin. Household furniture, general junk and other light items may require a General Light Waste bin.
See our waste type comparison or call (08) 9437 3733 before booking if your load crosses more than one category.
Choose your bin size and book online, or call us if you are unsure whether your materials belong in the Mixed Renovation/Construction Waste category.

Mixed Renovation/Construction Waste commonly comes from kitchens, bathrooms, property improvements, commercial fit-outs and residential building work.
For advice on planning the work, visit our guides to renovation waste removal, construction waste removal and demolition and strip-out waste.
Those pages explain common project situations. This category page should be used to check the accepted materials, bin sizes, prices and booking requirements for a mixed building-waste load.

Mixed waste is not automatically the best category for every renovation or clean-up.
Choose Soil Only when the entire load consists of clean soil or sand. Choose Clean Heavy Waste for a clean load of approved concrete, bricks, tiles and similar heavy materials without timber, cabinetry, metal or gyprock.
Use General Light Waste for approved household junk and lighter materials. Garden cuttings, branches and other accepted organic material belong in the Green Waste category.
